Bobelaine Sanctuary Trails - December 13, 2014
This 5.3 mile trek is rated easy to moderate, up and over a levee, then mostly flat. It provides us with a unique opportunity to explore the Central Valley's jungle-like riparian habitat. Maintained by the Audubon Society, the 430-acre sanctuary has an extensive loop-trail system kept cleared by mowers so bird-watchers and hikers can make their way through the forest. After the hike we will meet at Swabbies on the River. They have a great atmosphere and their fish tacos are worthy!
