Ancil Hoffman Park - January 19, 2019
This is a 4-5 mile loop along trails bordering the American River and perimeter of the park. There are gentle dirt/rocky trails with slight elevation changes. Possible sightings on the trail might include deer, birds, turkeys, maybe a coyote or a vulture. The hike includes a visit to Effie Yeaw Center to learn about the park, its wildlife, and efforts to improve the area. You will see a few small critters that live at the center. Afterwards we will have lunch at Danielle's Creperie on Fair Oaks Blvd.
